Four-Axis Machining
Four-axis machining involves taking a block of material and cutting it down into a finished part with optimal precision. With four axes, our machines can achieve much more complex 3D shapes by being able to access multiple sides of the workpiece within one fixture setup. Additionally, these machines allow us to run high volumes of parts with higher efficiency with multi-sided fixture plates attached to the rotary axis.
Waterjet Cutting
Our waterjet cutting capabilities allow us to cut nearly any material up to 8’’ thick with an extremely high level of precision and tolerances of +/- 0.002’’. Through the use of a highly pressurized jet of water, we can cut hundreds of two-dimensional shapes from a single 4’ x 8’ or 5’ x 10’ sheet of material.
High-Speed Routing
With our high-speed routing capabilities, we use a vacuum hold-down to secure a sheet of non-ferrous material with dimensions up to 6’ x 10’. This allows us to cut out very large parts or multiple smaller parts from the metal sheet. We can also produce a wide variety of 3D finished parts with features such as pockets, drilled and threaded holes, recesses, chamfered edges, and more.
Press Brake Bending
Press brake forming allows you to create complex 3-dimensional shapes from flat sheet patterns. We often use it for building brackets, flanges, and adapter plates. But items like custom electrical enclosures and long moulding covers are also well suited for this process
